Terms & conditions of booking

 

By placing an order with Fresh Beauty Academy you are agreeing to the following Terms and Conditions

Booking Fee:

By booking a course you are agreeing to having paid a booking fee. The booking fee that you pay includes the cost of your access to training materials, to secure the date for your practical training and assessment session, insurance whilst under the supervision of your tutor, course administration and the issue of your certificate. Booking fees vary dependent on the course you wish to study, but specific amounts can be found within each course listing. The full cost of your course must be paid at least 5 working days before your practical session (or immediately if booked less than 5 days before the course date).

Deposits:

We do not take deposits, however for academy-based courses we will allow you to reserve a space on your chosen course with a part-payment of your booking fee. The specific amount you need to pay is shown on the course listing. This can be done when selecting the course option before adding to your basket. You will then receive an invoice for the remaining balance which will be due 5 working days before your practical training session. If the balance is not received you will forfeit your space on the course and lose any booking fees already paid.  For online courses the full payment is required to secure your space.

Patch Testing:

For all courses that require a patch test,  your model will need to arrange an appointment  at the academy for a patch test  48-72 hours prior to your training date. It is your responsibility to ensure this happens as failure to come in for a patch test may result in the cancellation of your place on the course and loss of your booking fee.  If you are studying an online course which requires a patch test, it is your responsibility to follow the instructions given by your tutor and to carry out the patch test with the required amount of notice, before your online practical training.  It is also your responsibility to ensure any case studies are patch tested in line with your training.

Payments:

Once a booking is made, this is final and no price difference can be refunded in the event of a later course price reduction.

​Course Cancellation Policy:

If you can no longer attend your practical training session and your course is less than 14 days in the future, no refunds will be permitted.  At the absolute discretion of the management team we may offer you a space on a future course, subject to availability and an administration charge of £50.  

If you can no longer attend your practical training session and your course is 14 days or more in the future no refunds will be permitted but we will move your reservation to another available course date with no administration charge. A refund will not be given in any circumstance as you will already have had access to course materials (whether or not you have chosen to download them) and course registration will have already taken place. 

If you can no longer attend your practical training session please contact our team at your earliest opportunity and we will do our best to help with this. Please make all cancellation requests in writing using the email support@freshbeautyacademy.co.uk 

Failure to attend your session, without contacting us in advance, will forfeit any opportunity to reschedule and full payment will be retained.  

Fresh Beauty Academy reserve the right to cancel or postpone any course and will provide as much notice as possible. In the unlikely event that this is necessary, places will be transferred to the next available date with no admin fee. We accept no liability for any losses.

Course Kit Policy:

For academy-based training the cost of your course includes a student kit for use during your practical training session, and for any case studies that may be required. Once assigned to you during your course, the kit becomes your responsibility and will not be replaced or added to by Fresh Beauty Academy without further cost. You will be unable to complete your training without the required kit, and no refunds will be given for failure to complete the course.

Kits are excellent value for money and contain more than enough product to complete all of the training required. Many students find that the kits are so generous they can work on a number of clients after completing their course before having to replace products.

Refund requests for kits can not be accepted, even if you cancel your place on a course, as kits will have been purchased direct from the supplier on your behalf as soon as your booking was confirmed. In the unlikely event that Fresh Beauty Academy has to permanently cancel your place on a course, this exception would not apply and a full refund for course and kit would be issued. 

For all accredited online training courses a kit is also included, but any cancellations or returns will be subject to the suppliers’ T&Cs as kits are only ordered on your behalf but with delivery direct to your address. You would need to arrange any return postage and liaise direct with the supplier.

These terms do not affect your statutory rights and if your kit items are faulty or missing then this will be dealt with accordingly once proof is received. 

​Professional Status

Fresh Beauty Academy supplies products to fully trained beauty industry professionals, or those in training under the supervision of our academy tutors. By placing an order with Fresh Beauty Academy you are confirming that you are not a Consumer for the purposes of the Consumer Credit legislation and for the purposes of Sale of Goods legislation, and that you are in business and purchasing the goods for the purpose of that business and not for personal use. Customers should be qualified to use the products sold on this website. Goods are sold on the understanding that they will be used for their intended purpose.

No responsibility will be accepted by Fresh Beauty Academy, for trained or untrained personnel without qualified supervision, using or misusing equipment or products supplied by us. As a business customer, it is your sole responsibility to ensure that you are insured for products that you are using and we reserve the right to ask you for proof of professional status.
